Trying to Make Sense of It All

As the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches, I find myself confused and angry over what is going on in our country and our world.

Some Christians reading this will give me the same advice--look at the good things; keep your eyes on Jesus; God is in control.  And I do realize these things.  But not being concerned about what is happening around us is easier said than done.

I know that we win in the end.  I know that the rapture is on the horizon, and that the church will be caught away and we will go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb while there is tribulation the like of which no one has ever seen.  I know that the church will not be present for that.

What I don't know is how much we as Christians will have to endure before the rapture occurs.  THAT is scary.  The unknown is down-right frightening.  Joe Biden/Kamala Harris/Nancy Pelosi and the rest of those wicked, ungodly people will not use the proper channels to create their socialist world order.  They have their own army--Antifa & the BLM terrorists.  They will not use legislation through the House of Representatives and the Senate, they will simply send in their troops and take this nation by force.  I have NO DOUBT of that in my mind.  Why else would they have sent their thugs on missions this past year?  Those were test runs.  They were seeing just how much they could get away with and who would stand up to them and who would not.  Sadly, there was not near enough stance against them.  And one police chief who did arrest people was fired for doing so. (

I am afraid. I am trying to trust God, and the process that God allowed our Founding Fathers to create in our Constitution, but I feel like I am living in a nightmare when I think about the things that these wicked people have in store for us.

I pray that God will remove these wicked people by any means necessary.  If He could open up the earth and swallow up Korah and his gang, God can surely send some natural disaster or anything He chooses to use the get rid of all these people at once. I know that He can.  I pray for it every time I see their sorry faces on an ad on Facebook, or a "suggested" Tweet on Twitter.  Every time I read more about how the Mainstream Media is bowing down to them and worshipping them and how they are silencing anyone in their way, I am reminded that our freedoms are being taken away right and left.  And I feel like no one is doing anything about it!  I will not bow down to the Golden Mask!

I am angry.

I am afraid.

I am calling out to God for mercy and for Him to kill our enemies before they kill us.

Because remember, to them, preaching the Gospel is "hate speech".

Psalms 59:13-17

(13)  Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

(14)  And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

(15)  Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.

(16)  But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

(17)  Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

The Collage: A Collection of Short Stories

From The Collage

"When told that I had to go back to college, my heart fell. At that point in my life, I had two teenage children and I had a two-hour daily commute. Adding more college classes to my already hectic schedule was not something that I wanted to do. However, as it is with most of life’s twists and turns, this route was one that was divinely designed. Even though I had written two books already, these assignments really brought out something in me and my writing. I learned more about myself than I ever wanted to admit! I thank God for those two years of late night work. Some of these pieces will make you laugh; some will make you think; and some will shock you! So, my words to you are, enjoy the ride."
